Q.

my baby is 4 months old....baby is pushing hard to pass stool...and stool is semi solid...what could be the reason

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the disstention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is cryings if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.

A. If we go as per doctors they say it’s completely normal and common to child apply to apply a lot of pressure sometimes even the motion is semi solid to liquid to solid whatever the consistency but the doctor said this is completely normal
