my baby is 4 months 23days old , i am exclusively breastfeeding her but from pas 1 week she is being very fussy while breastfeeding, its like whenever i put her even close yo breast she starts crying. also she is drooling a lot and contniously trying to chew on things her hands even her cloths . what could possibly be the reason.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Crying of a Baby may be mostly due to infantile colic and gas related discomfort which can be relieved by giving medicine like collicaid /gastica drops.
other reasons could be nose blockage, pain in the ear or any other part of the body, diaper rash and may be more other reasons which needs to be ruled out .
babies may also cry due to hunger or feeling sleepy,or duke to uncomfortable temperature and clothes ,so accordingly may be judged.
if the crying behaviour doesnot resolve in tloime you should visit doctor for proper guidance.
