my baby is 4 months 1 week old , from today's,we start 2spoons of home made rice malt, can v give 2 spoons of water after that

A. weaning is started at the age of 6 months. kindly don't start before that. let digestive system of the baby develop properly. then introduce various food items. till then try giving mother milk only. thank you

A. Doctors recommend waiting until a baby is about 6 months old to start solid foods. Starting before 6 months is not recommended. At about 6 months, babies need the added nutrition — such as iron and zinc — that solid foods provide. It's also the right time to introduce your infant to new tastes and textures.

A. It's better u feed only breast milk of formula milk... other foods or water for a 4 month baby may cause problems to child's health.... after 6 months u can start solid foods.
