Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. it is important to continue the natural diet of the child. frequency smell and colour zof the stool is not important if the child is not having any complaints and the growth of the child is proper and the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. meet the doctor if the child is having complaints and the consizstency of the stool is either hard or totally watery.

Your baby could also have diarrhea with: A change in your baby's diet or a change in the mother's diet if breastfeeding. Use of antibiotics by the baby, or use by the mother if breastfeeding
