Q.

My baby is 4 month old now (breast feed only) and he poops more than 4 times a especially immediately after feed. Dr says he is lactose intolerant. But he is gaining good weight. He is 7 kgs now. It’s irritating me and baby both. I am using lactase drops but then also he poops. What should I do? I don’t want to stop breastfeeding. Do I need have something in my diet?? Please suggest.

A. Hello ma’am It is a very casual habit with kids to pass motion whenever they are taking a feed my child has done it a lot of times and she is not lactose in tolerant I believe you need to change your doctor for the time being consult another paediatrician and then see what your doctor has to say because had your trial be lactose in tolerant your child wouldn’t have been having your breast feed for this long
