Q.
My baby is 4 month 12 days old. His birth weight was 2.9 kg. At present his weight is 6.7 kg. His weight has not increased at all since last 20 days. Please tell, wat could be the reason and shd I be worried about this ?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. dear mum, weight of 6.7 kg is absolutely normal for 4+ months old baby, do not worry. the amount of weight gained by baby varies from time to time. baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or earlier.
