Q.
my baby is 3months 12days old .his birth weight is 2.75. now his weight is 4 kg as per WHO he is under weight.is there any problem? pls give me advise to improve my son's weight,he looks like 2months old baby very thin.. I'm worried about him.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. in first six monthss the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking breastfeeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate breastfeeding

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and baby weight is mainly depends upon the birth weight and it should be doubled the birth weight in first six months and please give baby breastfeeding exclusively and properly and massage twice a day with almond oil.
