Q.

my baby is 3month old so when to start cow milk and for food to be given also breast feed should be continue ? please suggest

A. Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes. Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk lacks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heafvy protein of cow's milk .To b start with cow's milk should be given than gradually you can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of two .

A. Animal milk only after the age of 12 months prior to that you can go ahead with giving formula feeding to the child and after seven months you can go for tone pasteurised milk but as of now it is only going to be formula feeding if you any time or low on West VeliWrite Your Answer Here
