My baby is 3 weeks old and I am giving him breast milk and formula milk too. But he is passing green stool with normal consistency and having gas. What should I do?

A. Hi, Green colour stools are normal in formula fed Babies, nothing to worry about. If your baby is on only Brestfeed then it can be due to fore milk and Hindmilk Imbalance. Feed longer on each breast so that baby get hindmilk ( end milk) which is rich in fat. For colic pain/ gastric, burb your child after every feed. Avoid too spicy and fried food. Consult with your pediatrician once to know about medications.
