My baby is 3 mths 5 days old, whenever she breastfeed, playing and takes calcium syrup usse khasi aati hai. Is she having cough?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough in a child could be allergic , infective or due to some other cause like GERD so it needs proper evaluation befoiure giving any medication .
as a first line of treatment,you can give steam inhalation to the child for the improvement before consulting your doctor.
any home remedies are of limited help in this. if it is infection, mild or severe,it requires proper treatment under medical guidance.self medication is not advised.
