Q.
My baby is 3 months old (premature born 2 months early, corrected age 1 month). Her weight is 3.680 kg. Sometimes she asks for milk every hour. She is totally on breastfeed. Is she underweight? Shall I give her formula feed along with breastfeed as well?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear Mum, considering that your baby was born premature, current weight of 3.68 kg is fine. you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. breast milk is most nutritious and complete food for baby till 6 months. avoid giving formula.
