Q.
My baby is 3 months old now and i know its normal for babies not to poop for few days when exclusive breastfed but he is showing irritation and not taking milk properly when not pooping for continuous 4 days . When he poops he passed thick paste like poop .

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician2 years agoA. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful, no fever, passing adequate urine ie. minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or 15 times per day- both conditions normal. bio
