Q.
My baby is 3 months 16 days old. He has constipation problem from last 5 weeks. Doctor has suggested to insert suppository. 3 days ago we inserted suppository under guidance and his stomach almost got empty that much potty he did. After that again he is not doing potty but his gas went out. He is getting very upset and crying. please suggest what should I do

manthraMom of a 3 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. burp your baby after every feeds and do baby massages 20 mins per day that will help you a lot with it,it also gives a calm sleep to babies... for proper massage ideas please checkout this page in instagram.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
