My baby is 3 months 15 days old , her birth weight is 3kg now she is only 5.5 she is not gaining weight enough , she is a BF baby she refuses to breastfeed sometimes and she starts crying Please suggest multivitamin drops for gaining weight

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear parent, weight of 5.5 kg is a normal weight for 3 months 15 days old baby. your baby has gained 2.5 kg since birth which is a normal weight gain. For healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. at one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
