Q.

my baby is 3 and half month old. Today He was showing difficulty in passing motion, he cried and passed the motion. this is the first time ... May I know the reasons of this condition??? what to do to overcome this situation in the future??

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distentionz of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel thatz the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.
