Mom of a 5 yr old girl4 years ago
Q.

My baby is 3.5 months old. Her birth weight was 3kgs. At 3 months, she was 5.8kgs. Last two weeks she has not gained any weight. Still at 5.8kgs. She feeds around 10 mins every 2 hrs and pees 12 to 16 tikes in a day. Is the weight not increasing a concern?

A. Hello Ma’am On an average if your child is even gaining 500 g in a month if not on weekly basis you’re counting even 500 g in a month is a very good weight gain and if the birth weight double by the age of six months or even before then that is considered as a very ideal and healthy waiting for the child for initial six months
