You need to make a proper schedule for the baby, take your baby to the room atleast before 1 hour when you want the baby to sleep, change the baby's clothes, get your baby into comfortable clothes, dim the lights of the room, play good soothing music, make sure the bed is made properly before sleeping and then put your baby to sleep, you can also say some bed time Stories to your kid aloud.
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. regarding sleep pattern in children above one year of age you have to just make a proper discipline for the child so that gradually the child will develop a proper schedule and avoid too much of screen time and other activities at least one hour before sleep also make the room environment and temperature favourable for the childd to sleep.
toddlers mayfr have night terrors and nightmares which needs to be managed accordingly.
