Q.

my baby is 23 days old. Her umbilical cord fell off just 2 days ago. But a tiny portion is still there which seems to be a part of the cord itself. It has not been dried up yet and a little blood and pus have been seen around it since yesterday. I have applied only a powder provided by the doctor. what should I do now?

A. that's enough if you do. no need to do anything. it might be a skin tag that will it self settle ok. just see that there is no rubbing against it
