#AskTheExpert my baby is 5 days old..and yesterday by mistake his umbilical cord fell off...and there was little blood ...is this a question of worry or now what I ve to do

It if it fell off on its own only then it is not a problem we’ll keep it of blood was there then you can clean it with beta Dean liquid as of now and that is completely fine you do not have to do anything if you see any problems arising then check with a paediatrician
