Q.
my baby is 2 year 7months old..he has cold n cough so I hav given 5ml of MAXTRA syrup then later my baby taken extra dosage of 8 to 10 ml with in a hour time period..is there any serious in that? plz suggest some remedy..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility thatc the child might have vomiting. it will be single episode and then it should stop. on the side effects part it may not be that much relevant so no need to worry.
it is important cthat in the future you should give proper quantity to the child in case of medicines
