Q.
my baby is 2 months and 23 days old. she has been pooping watery and mucousy with some chunks in the poop. is it normal??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion coculd be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any specific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration .

It Could be an indication for stomach infection you will have to get a test in a lab because after a test only we can come to know what kind of an infection it is or what are the things are associated with that so kindly please consult your paediatrician for this
