Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. its fine
you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake dup the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding
RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. See actually at this is the appetite for a child is somewhere around 60 to 90 ML only but they should be full for at least two or three hours after taking a feed if your child is feeling hungry like this and you’re feeling and the child is able to digest without vomiting and accordingly the weight gain is happening then it is not a problem
