Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. you cannot give colic medicine daily to the child because at the end it is a medicine which has got side effects
the recurrent stretching / curving of the body again and again as well as uncomfort / making grunting sounds as well as hiccups as well as colic pain all are due to gas in the intestine and stomach.
it is very important that after giving milk to the child you
should keep the child in upright position and do burping for 15 to 20 minutes.
do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because one time burping will not remove all the gas and if the gas is not removed properly izt will lead to
colic pain and more hiccups again and again.
keep the child in upright position whether you hear the burping souznd or not and also it is not important that you will hear the sound when the child removes the air from the oral cavity.

Lay them on their back in a dark, quiet room.Swaddle them snugly in a blanket.Lay them across your lap and gently rub their back.Try infant massage.Put a warm water bottle on your baby's belly.Have them suck on a pacifier.Soak them in a warm bath.
