Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool.
the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if dit is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
