Q.
My baby is 2 month 9 days old.. from last 2 days she's continuously sneezing and coughing. sneezing is followed by cough. after coughing she's giving expression like something (mucous) got in her throat. We've consulted pediatrician yesterday morning. Doctor checked her and said there's no problem in her health and prescribed Citrezen oral drops(M/N) and nasal saline drops (daily 3 times) But yesterday night my daughter kept on coughing continuously and she's feeling uneasy with that cough. she's even getting water from eyes after coughing. please do suggest me what to do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give maxtra drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given aczcording to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy3 years agoA. hello put medication as advised by your doctor and also it will take some days for the baby to recover and frequently feeding the baby will help baby recover fast and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same
