Q.
my baby is 2 month 8 days old... her birth weight was 3.7kgs .. now she is 5.1 kg.. is her weight is okay??

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. Dear mum, a Weight gain of 1.4 kg in 2 months and 8 days is absolutely normal, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months.

PallaviMom of a 7 yr 10 m old girl4 years agoA. Hello generally babies double their birth weight gain between 4-6 months and triple the weight by their first birthday. Boys generally gain more weight than girls and boys are heavier at birth.... regularly and timely breastfeeding or formula feedingbis very important and never miss a feed for ur baby
