Q.
My baby is 2 month 6 days old . Her birth weight was 2.9 kgs and today her weight is 4.6 kgs . Kindly let me know if the weight gain is proper.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear mum the weight gain of your baby is normal and good baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or less baby should triple the birth weight by 1 year

Yes it is a very healthy weight can if you look at it your child has gained about 1700 g 2 1/2 months which is very very good a minimum minimum gain of 500 g is considered good your child child has gained better than that which means it’s going very well for your child
