my baby is 2&half month old ,he poops once in a week .is it OK?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. constipation in small babies is very common and is more when you are giving formula milk. you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to y si hoour child you can consult doctor.give proper tummy time for about 15-20 mins and burping to avoid gastric trouble.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. There is a range of healthy when it comes to how often a baby should poop. As long as your baby is feeding normally and gaining weight (1 to 2 pounds a month), don't worry about the number of poops. Some babies 2 months or older poop once a day or more often. Other babies poop once every few days or even once a week.
