my baby is 2 and half month boy baby I is having cold can we take the vaccine after 1 week ha and what to eat to get baby wt gain

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fgyever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and tuhe dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

A. if the baby is not well you can delay the vaccination till baby is fine.. for weight gain you can start with vitamin supplement as zincovit or A to Z consulting your pediatrician it is exclusively Breast feed recommended for six months mother milk helps weight gain
