A. usually does not cause any problem. clean the oral cavity of the child and wait and watch. if there is no vomiting then there is no need to worry but if vomiting occurs then you can give vomiting medicine and then meet your doctor. whether poisoning or any problem will occur or not only time will decide and the doctor will give symptomatic relief with the help of antacid medicines. whether any laxatives are required or not will also be informed by the doctor. try to give easily digestible food to the child and regular fluids

A. If your 2.9-year-old has ingested Vicks Baby Rub, here's what you should do: ### **1. **Immediate Actions** - **Observe Symptoms**: Check if your child is showing any signs of distress, such as coughing, difficulty breathing, nausea, or vomiting. - **Rinse Mouth**: If possible, have your child rinse their mouth with water to remove any remaining residue. ### **2. **Contact Poison Control** - **Call Poison Control**: Reach out to your local poison control center for specific advice on the situation. They can provide detailed instructions based on the amount ingested and the product's ingredients. ### **3. **Consult a Doctor** - **Seek Medical Attention**: If your child is exhibiting any symptoms or if you're concerned about their well-being, take them to a healthcare provider immediately for a professional evaluation. ### **4. **Monitor for Symptoms** - **Watch for Reactions**: Keep an eye on your child for any signs of adverse reactions and seek medical help if necessary. ### **5. **Prevent Future Incidents** - **Safe Storage**: Ensure that all potentially harmful products are stored out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. ### **Conclusion:** Even though Vicks Baby Rub is generally considered to have a low risk of severe toxicity, it's important to take any ingestion seriously. Contact poison control and consult a healthcare professional to ensure your child's safety.
