Q.

My baby is 2.81 lbs the day she is born she is one and half month old she doesn't gain much weight I hope I dont have breast milk we are giving formula feed for her is that okay baby weight gains by formula feed

A. definitely baby will gain weight by giving formula also but probably baby is premature we have to give a special formula For further advice in this problem it is advisable to consult your doctor for proper physical examination appropriate investigations and proper advice please see your doctor once

A. See I would you say if your child is gaining somewhere on 400 to 800 g weight in a month then that is an ideal and healthy weight gain for the child so it’s one month now so your child should have at least a minimum of 400 g on the lighter side and it’s okay if you do not have sufficient breastfeed it’s good to go with formula
