Move on to an open cup gradually. Be a role model for your toddler. When your kid sees you enjoying your cup of tea from an open cup, it is likely that he or she will be curious and want to imitate you. Start with a little quantity of liquid in a small medicine cup. Once he or she gets used to that, you can introduce bigger cups or glasses. Go for training cups with beakers, spouts and straws that are available in the market.
