My baby is 2.5 months old he smiles and make noises while looking at ceiling or light but does not make proper eye contact or smiles at me is it normal

A. Kids don’t have a clear vision in this age which is why they don’t smile at you or they don’t look at things they’re just looking at their surroundings as per their comfort that is what people feel that they’re looking at that after completing the age of three months you will see the things that you’re looking for but that is also going to take some time
