Q.
My baby is 2.5 months old. During last month she gained only 400g. Is this very low? She is on Breastfeeding. Her Birth weight is 3.154Kg now she is 4.3Kg at 2.5 months old. Is this weight gain less than normal

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist4 years agoA. Hello mom yes it’s slightly less but not to worry as far as your baby is gaining weight and is active enough for his age and taking his feed well not to worry . Babies gain about 300 GMs to 1 kg monthly and they do double it by the age of 4 to 6 months
