A. Dear mum, what was the birth weight? If your baby has been gaining 500 grams per month and is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones then do not worry. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

A. He was 3 kg at birth, but got 2.5 kgs due to jaundice after 4 days of birth. He's totally on breastfeed since birth.
