my baby is 2 1/2 months old...from last 10 days baby is having mild cold ..when crying mucus is coming from nose.. doctor prescribed us to use gudcef ( cefpodoxime proxeil oral suspension ip), tuscold drops and mucolite drops and saline nasal spray as well.we r using the doctor prescribed drops from last 2 days. After using these drops baby started crying continuously ...is it safe? or it is high doses for baby?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. l cdCold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
