Q.

My baby is 1year 11 months old.She is having light fever of 99-100 from afternoon after her bathI gave her crocin drops about 0.8ml she was dull before medicine but felt better after kedicine and again after 6hrs post her crocin drops i think she is bit warm(temperature of head 99.4 during sleep)Should i give more crocin drops or i should watch for sometimeI have given crocin only 1dose a day at 3.35pm.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give pguaracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
