my baby is 19 months old he is having severe cough for the last 3 weeks we nebulize him for 4 days and give him levolin syrup but still the cough is not curing and every time mucus comes out with omet when he is coughing...I am worried because he is not able to sleep properly at night due to coughing ...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of tbhe time supportive trjeatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl1 Year agoA. I would like to tell you that you should also give a mixture of ginger juice and honey mixture to the child which is what is going to be beneficial and also also get tested for an allergy maybe your child is suffering with a certain kind of allergy
