Q.

My baby is 18th month old and she couldn't speak only mum n other meaningless words. Is it normal?

A. teacher should be able to understand and follow some commands and orders given by the parents and if it is present do not worry much about the speech and language skill at present but yes kindly decrease screen time like TV mobile and laptop if going on

A. this is late speech so language development is a reflection of brain development . So know that by 8-9 months of age baby should speak mama Baba Nana , if not then it s a delay . Avoid any smartphone or TV exposure reduce screen time communicate with baby encourage baby to talk recite stories and see a speech therapist and a doctor for it
