Q.

my baby is 18months old and still not walking,but he started walking by holding furniture and wall but unable to take independent steps. what should I do???what are the reasons for late walking in babies???

A. Can I know from which month your baby started to walk? My baby too not yet walking, she is almost 17 months old

A. Hello good evening !! Generally babies start walking around 11-13 months but some takes time 15-17 Months , every baby is different in achieving their milestones. If baby is active then no need to worry due to insufficient calcium milestones might take time. Feed calcium, protein rich foods in diet for Bones and muscle strength. Milk and diary products,Dal(lentils),idly,Ragi,dry fruits,egg, fruits and vegetables,soya.

A. hi it's best u consult with your child's pediatrician as the doctor can be the right person to guide and advice you based on history of the kid. my kid took her first independent steps late too at about 15months
