Q.

my baby is 18 months old and I give him morning - aata sheera /ragi/suji/oats/ anyone with banana and dry fruit powder mid morning - pear lunch -khichdi with carrot and beetroot .. evening - mashed potato and sweet potato night - rice and omlette is it fine ? or I need to add more I keep adding vegetables in his khichdi like palak , turai , bhindi he drinks around 300 ml water daily please help thanks, pooja

A. Dear Pooja, the food chart that you have shared for your baby is fine. Avoid giving oats till 2 years. It is bulky so fills baby’s small stomach and reduces the appetite for other food. Also ensure to give at least 500 ml of milk every day. This can include recipes like porridge, kheer and milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Include other seasonal fruits as well.
