my baby is 18 days old her navel vord fell itself on 4thday. but now on 13 days I saw a blood drop on her navel I cleaned it wd warm water.yestrday again there was blood spot on navel .I did her CBC n cogilation test that is normal .also gave injection vit k ..now what

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist10 months agoA. Are there any crusts in that area? If he is then probably because of dislodgment of that it has happened. Sometimes it could be improper closure of the Vein in that region but usually it will bleed a lot. You can consult a pediatric surgeon if you are very keen
