Q.
my baby is 17 month old she is doing 3-4 timing poop in a day every day first poop color is redish.....she is taking in fruits apple purii n banana and in meal daal roti n khichdiii.....some time I am giving cerlac also at night time..... please suggest why her poop color is red

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. Red colour poop can be if it is too hard which causes a tear near snack area so check if it is blood or some fiber thing and try giving more liquids to tue baby as well

As you mentioned that your baby is passing stool twice a day but read only once so this can be a colour food only. But still if you are having doubt then you should definitely go for a stool test to get sure about it
