A. Including nutrient-dense foods in a child's diet can help with healthy weight gain. Consider incorporating foods like: 1. **Whole Milk:** Rich in calories and nutrients. 2. **Paneer (Indian cottage cheese):** A good source of protein and calcium. 3. **Ghee (clarified butter):** Adds calories and healthy fats. 4. **Lentils and Pulses:** High in protein and essential nutrients. 5. **Rice and Potatoes:** Good sources of carbohydrates. 6. **Bananas and Mangoes:** Provide natural sugars and energy. 7. **Nuts and Seeds:** Healthy fats and protein. 8. **Avocado:** A nutrient-dense fruit with healthy fats. 9. **Sweet Potatoes:** High in calories and various nutrients. 10. **Homemade Chapatis/Rotis with Dal:** Balanced and nutritious. Consulting with a pediatrician or a nutritionist can ensure a tailored plan for your child's specific needs.
