Q.

my baby is 15 days old, the mother of the baby produces low milk , so how much of the lactodex starter formula should be given to a baby apart from mother milk , right now i am giving about 40 ml of lactodex starter formula and then also it seems like the baby stomach is empty and wants more milk. what should be done please advise

A. you can give 30 ML to 50 ml and then gradually increase according to the demand feeding of the child you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits
