Q.

my baby is 14 months old. me and my husband are tested covid positive. my baby also got fever. it's been 6 days today. my pead told me to use only paracetamol syrup 5ml every 6 hours as the temperature was only 100. Today morning I did not give paracetamol for 10 hours. temperature is 99.6. should I continue paracetamol or wait? how long must I continue with paracetamol?

A. Hello dear parent! Better to wait and check if the fever is going above 100. If your baby is not showing any discomfort symptoms then may be you can give a longer gap between two medications. It is advisable to keep your doctor posted about the changes and developments. Good luck and take care.
