my baby is 14 months old and she is having watery loose motion since yesterday every after 2 minutes whether she eats or not i had given progermina tube at the morning and econorm sachet at evening but nothing works the motion is constant

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Loose motion could be because of some infection or if chronic than could be some malabsorption. Initially you can give zinc supplement for 2 weeks and probiotic like econorm sachet for 3 days . For any spegcific treatment consult your doctor and maintain proper hydration . try to avoid giving excessive milk ok and can give khichdi mashed potato ripe banana poha if the baby is above 6 months of age, maintain proper hydration by giving plenty of fluids.

Vritika AroraMom of a 5 yr 2 m old child4 years agoA. Hi dear mom Also give ORS to ur baby to keep ur baby hydrated.. It can take 2-3 days to get cured. Consult ur paediatrician for the same again if there is no improvement. Take care
