my baby is 13 months old.he is suffering from fever from 2 days.iam giving colpol syrup every 6hrs.but its not controlling.what can I do.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose acs the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do ft cold sponging of the body if required
