My baby is 13 months old and sucking thumb very badly, please guide how to get rid of this?

Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go . In the toddlers thumb sucking habit is also seen many a times which could be phycological cause and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable ahgnd divert in some activities also spend good time with the child . In extreme case withdrawal can be tried with some solutfion available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be applied locally .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. Teething Can be happening with your child I think that’s one of the biggest i bid it could be molars or it could be some another thing so it’s very important for you to get it checked either with your doctor to check it yourself
