Q.
my baby is 13 months old, , 3 weeks back he got cold and fever which lasted for one week post which I hear snoring kind of sound while he is sleeping and breathing sound as well,we have done nebulization but still I can hear sound while he is sleeping, is something to worry, should I visit pediatrician again. He is active throughout and doesn't have fever or cough

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along ft with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
